“Hope” my little Angel

Does having a great life depends on how many good or bad situation we had in our life? There could be a lot of answer for these question. My personal answer is no. I think that the key of having a good or bad life depends on how we manage all these situations that happen through our life. Maybe good situations doesn’t need to be manage we only should enjoy them but the bad ones are different. These ones depending on how we manage them could make our life a little bitter or make us fall and these destroy our life. In these case there is only one thing that could help us standing up and keep that way in life and that is hope. I didn’t saw this until I read “ “Hope” is the thing with feathers” by Emily Dickinson. If we analyze this poem we can find that not only she describe hope base on her own experience but she says that hope is Pease and we are going to see this step by step.
On the first stanza we can see that Emily Dickinson is saying that Hope is the thing with feather and the first we can think is that it is a bird. But she mention too that this thing is in our soul wish doesn’t make a lot of sense. If we think a little more and look at the title of the poem we can see that it’s a little spiritual and because of these I drop to the conclusion that she is talking about an Angel instep of a bird because Angels are

represented as little children with wings. So in other words she is saying in the first stanza that Hope is an Angel in our soul.
By other way we know that Angels sings tune or harmonize without words and they never stop. We can see this very clearly in the last two line of the first stanza and on the first line of the second stanza.
On the second stanza is very important to support ma thesis and was the one that make me realize what this poem was about . Were E. Dickinson says “ sore must be the storm- That could abash the little Bird” we can see that she is saying in other words that the evil should be angry that could but it didn’t grieve the little Angel. And if we see on the quote were bird is wrote in capital letter that from my knowledge means that she is referring to other thing more important like in these case an Angel. In these stanza now she is speaking of her own experience with Hope.
Then in the last stanza wish is like continuation of the second stanza she continue talking of her experience with this little Angel that have been in her soul on very sad or depressing situation and on situation were she didn’t know what to do that Angel keep her walking straight and didn’t let her fall without asking anything from her.
After reading these analysis we can see that E. Dickinson is talking about Hope as Angels and there is evidence of these through the hole poem about these. It was a little bit difficult to make a connection between Hope and Angel the first time y read the poem but analyzing the poem, braking the poem in little peaces took me to the conclusion of it’s meaning.
